[about zombie cow studios]

Hello there! Welcome to Zombie Cow Studios: purveyors of fine electronic entertainment, beamed directly into your eyes and brain via the technological marvel of The Internet.

Zombie Cow Studios was rather inventively set up at the very peak of the Global Economic Meltdown by part-time Indie developer and full-time against-the-grain specialist Dan Marshall.

I’m joined on my various misadventures by a whole host of talented and brilliant individuals, all working to craft beautiful pieces of escapism to take your minds off the inevitable collapse of society and subsequent mutant/ robot uprising- primarily ‘professional game legends’ Lemmy and Binky, geniuses in their specialist chosen fields of code and art.

We love hearing from people, honest we do - whether you’re providing feedback for one of our games, have gotten yourself into a pickle of some sort, or simply want to say hello, the best thing to do is to drop a line to dan@zombie-cow.com, and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Failing that, if you’re lonely and looking for someone to chat to, you could always sign up for our forums and type all your worries away over there. Have fun.

Ooh, you can also keep up to date with Zombie Cow stuffs via ‘The Twitter’: twitter.com/thezombiecow

Ben There, Dan That! is utterly-enjoyable nonsense. It’s one of those old pointy-clicky adventure games, like in the olden days before everything became about Space Marines and physics. It’s a little bit funny, a little bit clever and very, very silly. It’s also completely FREE which is the best price for games, frankly. You can download by clicking the image above, and if you really enjoy it I’d very much appreciate a donation, no matter how small.

Time Gentlemen, Please! is the preposterous and highly-regarded sequel to Ben There, Dan That! Seriously, 9/10 from Eurogamer, 90% from PCZone, 87% from PCGamer. Blimey. Well worth a look for a mere 5 US ‘bucks’.

Cruxade is one of those block dropping puzzle games Indie developers have to make.
It was ‘inspired’ by Lumines, although the graphics and gameplay are actually a bit different in some places.

It’s made using XNA, which is Microsoft’s new whizzy-and-clever way of making games. It’s dead easy to make things look pretty and exciting, so that’s what I used to make this game. Sadly, the end result is that there’s other ‘fluff’ you need to install ‘your end’ to get things running. Don’t worry, though, it’s all fluff made by Microsoft, so you know it’s not going to hurt your computer in any way.

Gibbage is the game that started it all. It’s a two-player deathmatch game that I made while learning how to code. It’s a bit clunky and a bit ugly but completely brilliant. What’s more, I’ve dropped the price to a measly £3, which is practically nothing.

Right- now that the corporate shilling is all out of the way: nice to have you on board. Why not sign up for The Forum and join in the fun? There are all sorts of benefits to being a member, not least that you get to join in with our perpetually amazing banter.

ben there, dan that! only pretends to be free, you know. in reality, it cost several thousand pounds to make.

if you enjoyed it, please let us know with your hard-earned money, so that we can make more awesome games:

or if you hate the idea of paying for free stuff, you could always buy one of our other games. thanks!
